I feel so sorry for kids from broken homes
No motherly advice (Psychologist, dietician, counsellor)
No fatherly advice (Money, honesty, fighting, sex)
My ethics, empathy, love.
Love of nature, understanding,
Temperament, wisdom, patience,
All came from them.
The country walks
The serious talks
The Dad jokes
Remain in my brain and keep me sane
Gone now but never forgotten
