So emotional today It just won’t go away Wimbledon finals day part of the reason? Human spirit at it’s best! Just back from holiday perhaps that’s why? Bad thoughts and stress have gone Though I prayed and prayed and prayed Floating on my back in the blue sea For a dear friend’s wife in a critical state Portugal was as lovely as it’s people Friendly, smiling, welcoming Tuk Tuk driver told us why Britain came to their aid many years ago Much to my shame I didn’t know Back in the office now……….. But I don’t even mind the bills! Mind and body rested Faith in humanity restored Sand between my toes gone now……….
